José Garrido has been a partner in the IP-IT and privacy department of DA Lawyers since 2017. Previously, for 22 years, he was managing partner of Garrido Pastor Abogados, a boutique in his speciality. He provides strategic advice on the protection of business information through patents, designs, trademarks, copyrights or trade secrets, as well as the defence thereof. His goal is to turn intangible assets into tangible assets. A member of the international associations INTA and AIPPI, he is a collaborating lecturer in the master's degrees in these subjects at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and ICADE. He is recognised by Legal 500 2019 as a Spanish expert in Trademark Law.
