New future perspective: Accursia Group secures the future of the Berlin site of Doering Glass Radeburg GmbH as a strong investor

For the long-established glass processor Doering Glass Radeburg GmbH, with more than 90 years of corporate history, a clear path forward has now been defined: As part of a transfer restructuring, the Accursia Group is acquiring the business operations in Berlin, thereby continuing the company’s development at this location. The company, which specializes in the processing of all types of glass—particularly bending, finishing and the distribution of glass products such as façade and insulating glass, solar control, safety and blind glass—had filed for the opening of self-administration proceedings in May 2025. This step was taken in response to sharply rising energy and material costs, a weak construction market and project delays. Within the framework of these proceedings, a viable solution has now been achieved for the Berlin operations. In a structured investor process, the Accursia Group emerged as the ideal partner for the future development of the Berlin site. All 58 jobs in Berlin will be fully retained. The plant in Radeburg had already been closed in August 2025 as part of the restructuring measures.
