Corporate restructuring and transformation” are two buzzwords that are frequently used at the moment. With a corporate transformation, as a comprehensive process to fundamentally change business strategy, processes and structures, companies can adapt to new market conditions and remain competitive.

The implementation of a transformation can bring with it a variety of challenges, such as resistance to change, difficulties in implementing new processes and systems, as well as problems with communication and collaboration between the respective stakeholders. It is therefore important that the company plans and executes the transformation carefully to ensure that it is successful.

Dr. Stephan Schwilden, MBA is Managing Partner at act AC Tischendorf. He advises numerous well-known companies, both nationally and internationally, on labour and commercial law issues, supports outsourcing projects and designs innovative models for company pension schemes. In addition, Dr. Stephan Schwilden has market-renowned expertise in managing and implementing complex restructuring projects and in representing clients in difficult negotiation and dispute situations. Dr. Gunnar Binnewies

Managing Director

Dr. Gunnar Binnewies is Managing Director at the Munich Office of goetzpartners and Head of Restructuring and Turnaround with a focus on Workforce Restructuring.

He has a profund management consulting expertise and is specialized in turnaround, complex staff reduction programs and organizational and process optimization as well as strategic positioning. He often acts as a mediator between employers and employees with the aim of making the whole organisation sustainable – including locations, skills and processes.

Dr. Gunnar Binnewies studied business economics and business sciences at the University of Bayreuth, the ESC Rouen in France as well as the University of Hannover and gained his doctoral degree at the University of Bayreuth.

Marcus Brans

Managing Partner

Marcus Brans heads our Zurich office and advises clients from the industrial and technology sectors, private equity, family offices and professional services. He will focus on advising clients on M&A, restructuring, transformation, crisis and financial communications as well as C-level consulting, CommTech and litigation PR.

Prior to joining consulting, Marcus Brans spent over 25 years in various management and consulting roles. Most recently, he established and managed an in-house communications consultancy for Triton Funds and its portfolio companies. Prior to that, as Senior Vice President, he was responsible for global communications, strategy and marketing for the automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler. His broad international experience in corporate, capital market and strategic communications is complemented by his experiences at Linklaters, Allen & Overy and Shearman & Sterling.

Marcus Brans studied management and politics at the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich and holds an MBA from the Universities of Minnesota and Vienna.
