Strong Partnership for MedTech Innovation: NORD Holding Invests in MedXpert

The Private Equity team led by Christoph O. Breithaupt provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to NORD Holding Small Cap GmbH & Co., a fund of NORD Holding UBG mbH, on the acquisition of a majority stake in MedXpert GmbH.

Based in Eschbach (Baden-Württemberg), MedXpert is a leading medical technology company specializing in the development and distribution of innovative surgical implants for the bony thorax. For over 20 years, the company has been supplying rib and sternum implants that are now used in more than 40 countries worldwide.

With the investment by NORD Holding, MedXpert aims to accelerate its growth through strengthened sales and marketing activities, further international expansion, and an extended product portfolio. The increasing global demand for surgical rib stabilization solutions presents substantial growth potential for the future.

With this transaction, NORD Holding, one of Germany’s leading private equity and asset management firms, expands its portfolio with another high-growth company in the MedTech sector.
