Alberto Senante joins act legal Spain as Corporate Law Partner

With extensive experience in M&A, corporate law and commercial contracts, Senante will strengthen the firm’s legal services to multinational companies

Madrid, 25 February 2025 – Alberto Senante has joined act legal Spain as a partner in the firm’s Corporate Law practice. He brings solid expertise in complex transactions and legal advisory for both domestic and international companies, further strengthening the firm’s position in Spain as a leading business law firm.

With 19 years of professional experience, Alberto has developed his career at top-tier law firms including Garrigues, PwC and KPMG Abogados, gaining a strong foundation in corporate law, particularly in M&A and corporate governance. Over the course of his career—also working at firms such as VCGH Abogados and co-founding AdM/S Abogados—he has led strategic transactions involving corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures for large corporations.

His practice has enabled him to advise a wide range of clients across diverse sectors, including alternative and renewable energy, technology, retail, real estate, pharmaceuticals, and private equity.

Among the most notable projects he has worked on over the past year are the restructuring of a family-owned business group with an international presence—successfully navigating the challenge of balancing individual interests with the group’s long-term strategy—and his involvement in M&A transactions for one of Spain’s major global multi-energy companies, as part of its transition towards a sustainable energy model.

In addition to his professional practice, Alberto holds a Master’s Degree in Business Legal Advice from IE (Instituto de Empresa) and combines his legal work with teaching. He is a professor of Commercial Contracts on the Master of Access to the Legal Profession at ISDE (Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía). In 2017, he was awarded the ISDE Prize for Excellence in Legal Practice.
