Advised Newag on the acquisition of Costa Sistemi Ferroviari’s operating unit

We advised one of Poland’s largest rail operators in connection with the acquisition, during liquidation proceedings, of the operating unit of the Italian company Costa Sistemi Ferroviari. The transaction included rights to a construction project, a framework agreement for the supply of 20 diesel locomotives for the Etna Railway, and an implementation agreement for the delivery of 4 locomotives. Our team also conducted change negotiations covering an additional 6 trains.
