act legal Romania assisted Teva Pharmaceuticals on the accession by its Romanian subsidiary of the group’s securitisation programme, arranged by BNP Paribas, Dublin Branch.

The transaction entailed the financing of selected commercial receivables payable by Romanian customers, by using mechanisms specific to securitisation –assignments of receivables, ultimately followed by the issuing of financial instruments on foreign markets.

act legal Romania contributed to the review of the contractual implementation of the transaction, taking into consideration the peculiarities of the Romanian law, in the larger context of the recently enacted European securitisation regulation. The team of lawyers was coordinated by Ștefan Botezatu (Managing Partner) together with Laura Estrade (Partner) and backed by Andrei Hâncu (Of Counsel) and Andrei Petre (Counsel).
