Luca specialises in corporate and commercial law and mainly assists Italian corporate clients and foreign investment funds in Italy in relation to Merger & Acquisition, Joint-Venture, and cross-border transactions. He normally assists the client from the outset of a transaction from initial stage negotiations throughout and until closing and post-closing management.
Luca specialises also in restructuring & turn around and bankruptcy procedures, assisting clients in the management and composition of corporate crises and debt restructuring, here including recovery plans and restructuring agreements. He also acts as liquidating commissioner in administrative compulsory liquidations upon the appointment of the Italian MISE.
Luca assisted many clients in complying with the personal data protection regulation, here including the GDPR, addressing all the issues related to the relevant discipline. He normally advises on the preparation of organizational models pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 so as to prevent also criminal-administrative liability of the companies.
Luca gained experience also in assisting national and international professional athletes and sports clubs on a comprehensive range of legal issues and contractual matters. He has experience in negotiating and providing advice on the terms of commercial sports agreements, including sponsorship, participation, staging, promoter and venue agreements.
Attorney at law. He graduated in law ‘with honours’ in 2003 with a thesis on “Illegal transactions involving shares or quotas of the holding company”, and he was tutor on ‘Commercial Criminal Law and white collar’s crimes’ on the module held by Prof. Alessandra Rossi of University of Turin. He was admitted to the Turin Bar on 20 November 2006. In 2019 Luca attended a master's degree in law, justice and management of sports in Rome.
Besides his native language Italian, Luca is fluent in English.
