Future secured: ACHAT Hotel Group makes a successful fresh start 

After only eight months, the ACHAT Hotels Group was able to successfully complete the self-administration proceedings: 100% of creditors approved the insolvency plans, which are now legally binding. This secures the long-term continuation of the company.
ACHAT is now once again operating independently and will continue to manage a portfolio of 32 hotels in Germany with around 4,100 rooms and apartments in the 3- and 4-star segment under the brand names ACHAT Hotels and LOGINN Hotels. The transfer of 18 hotels to other operators has ensured that jobs, customer relationships, and guest reservations have been retained. The portfolio, now streamlined to 32 hotels, will be comprehensively modernized and focused on quality, digitalization, and sustainability.

Background: At the end of November 2024, the ACHAT Hotels Group, with over 5,800 rooms throughout Germany and Hungary, filed for insolvency after the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, inflation, and cost increases, as well as the significantly changed booking behavior of business customers, had led to liquidity bottlenecks. The Mannheim Local Court then ordered provisional self-administration.
