Reorganization: MTB specialist YT Industries restructures under its own management 

YT Industries GmbH, a renowned German manufacturer of high-quality mountain bikes (Hausen, Bavaria), is restructuring under its own management.
YT Industries was founded in 2006 and has established itself worldwide with innovative product development and a direct online sales model. The company's crisis is the result of a combination of factors: material shortages during the COVID-19 pandemic, a subsequent oversupply in the bicycle market with high discounts, the effects of the war in Ukraine, and rising energy costs. Added to this was the insolvency of an important assembly partner in Germany.
With the self-administration proceedings now initiated, a structured restructuring process has begun with the aim of stabilizing and realigning the company for the long term. The wages and salaries of the approximately 200 employees are secured by advance financing of insolvency payments. Production, customer service, and project development continue without restriction and with the usual high quality.
