Michael Bader qualified as an attorney at law in 1985 and founded his own practice in Bern in 1988. That practice developed into act legal Switzerland, formerly BGPartner Ltd, with offices in Bern and Zurich and clients in Switzerland and abroad. He has played a defining role in the firm’s development at every stage. As Senior Partner and an experienced negotiator, he advises companies on corporate and commercial law, construction and planning law, national and international contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and liability matters. He also represents clients in arbitration proceedings before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). A substantial part of his practice is international, particularly in matters involving Switzerland and Asia. In China, he serves as Foreign Legal Counsel to ZHH Zhonghao Law Firm.
