act legal Spain has joined OdiseIA – the Observatory for the Social and Ethical Impact of Artificial Intelligence – as an institutional partner. This alliance aims to join forces in promoting the ethical and lawful implementation of AI systems in society. With this step, act legal Spain becomes one of the first national law firms to take this initiative.

OdiseIA is an independent, non-profit organisation founded in 2019, which advocates for the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence, placing human and social well-being at the centre. A key reference in Spain, OdiseIA leads projects on responsible AI, provides specialised advisory services, conducts research, publishes reports, organises events, and offers training. It plays a pivotal role in bringing together experts committed to advancing informed discussion and developing frameworks to ensure the ethical deployment of AI in society.

In 2023, act legal Spain launched a dedicated practice area focused on legal advisory services in artificial intelligence.
