Established automotive supplier Pliezhausen Thermagenix GmbH restructures under self-administration with act legal

Pliezhausen Thermagenix GmbH, a long-established company with an almost 40-year history, is one of the leading providers of innovative thermal management solutions for the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. At its Pliezhausen site, the company manufactures high-quality specialty products and supplies renowned OEMs in Germany and abroad.

Due to the current market situation and sharply rising energy and material costs, Pliezhausen Thermagenix GmbH encountered financial difficulties. The self-administration proceedings mark the starting point of a comprehensive restructuring process aimed at stabilising the company and broadening its customer base. Production and support for customer projects continue at the usual high standards. Employee wages and salaries for the company’s 89 staff members are secured through insolvency benefit pre-financing.
