Doering Glass GmbH, a German company with over 90 years of tradition and a leading manufacturer of insulating glass as well as curved and specialty glass (Berlin and Radeburg), is undergoing restructuring with the support of act legal within the framework of self-administration proceedings.

As a key partner for innovative glass solutions in the construction and real estate industries, Doering Glass specializes in high-quality, sustainable glass products and supplies renowned clients both domestically and internationally from its sites in Radeburg and Berlin.

In light of the current market challenges and rising energy and material costs, the company faced financial difficulties. The self-administration proceedings now initiated mark the beginning of a structured restructuring process aimed at stabilizing and repositioning the company for the long term – with a particular focus on expanding the curved and specialty glass segment.

Production and customer service continue without interruption and at the usual high quality. Employee salaries and wages for the 167 staff members are secured through insolvency benefits pre-financing.
